 The Kick off ceremony of 2009 Dragon Junior Chamber Flagship Project – Dragon Apprentice Youth Business Competition was successfully launched on the 20th June 2009 at 3:30pm in Mega Box. Many distinguish guest attended this ceremony, and they are Guest of Honor George Lung MH JP, Dr. Mickey Yan, Mr. Stephen Lee and National President Senator Ken Wong, etc. Joint project Dragon Apprentice Youth Business Competition is a competition that aims to provide a learn is a competition that aims to provide a learn opportunity for young people in between the age group 15 to 29. Through competition and workshop young people will learn communication skills, team work and self acknowledgement, thus could lead a brighter future of themselves.
 Led by Project Chairman K.K. Hon, and co- organized with Hong Kong Children and Youth Service, the event was full housed (over 90 participants)," and guests and participants had an enjoyable afternoon.

“The champion is Foley Lam, Dragon Junior Chamber!” announced by National President Senator Ken Wong. I was about to burst into tear the moment when I heard this news. On 25th of April, It may have been the most memorable day for months. Around 40 Jaycees joined the 2009 JCI Public Speaking Championship HK Selection and I was one of the 17 contestants in the JC class. The topic was “Global impact through local action” and my content was about climate change. Under the supervision of Maestro past president of DJC including Arthur Lui, Derek Tsang and senior member Raymond Wong, I had been preparing for a few weeks from composing the speech to rehearsals. |

 Government announced the appointment of the Chief Executive, Mr. Pang Yiu-kai starting from April 25 this year to replace Dr. Thomas Leung Kwok-fai, Hong Kong Institute of Education served as the Chairman of the Council term of three years.
In addition, the Chief Executive has also appointed Eric K.C. Li GBS JP teaching institutions in the same period of Directors Treasurer. Pang Yiu-kai is the president of Hong Kong Land Group, is currently teaching institutions for the Board Treasurer. Eric Lee is Tom Chen Ernst accountants, previously served in the Open University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a member of the treasurer. According to "The Hong Kong Institute of Education Ordinance," Education institutions are the Institute Directors of administration decision-making body, the Institute of Administration and the Institute's affairs have full control over the deal.
